How to Apply Your Rear Shock Carbon Fiber Wrap

1. Clean the Surface
Wipe down the shock body a clean surface ensures maximum adhesion. Make sure you wipe it down BEFORE applying or rear shock carbon fiber wrap.

2. Test Fit the Wrap
Hold the wrap around the shock to understand placement. This helps you line it up perfectly before sticking.

3. Start from One Edge
Peel a small section of the backing and place the wrap on the shock. Apply slowly—don’t rush this part.

4. Smooth It As You Go
Press firmly with your fingers or a squeegee, working around the shock to eliminate air bubbles. Use light pressure and smooth in one direction.

5. Apply Heat (Optional but Recommended)
Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low to warm the wrap. This activates the adhesive and helps it contour to curves.
